Online Bookings - Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings

1.1 Once the booking process has been completed and submitted, and where required, a full payment has been received, you will be sent confirmation of your booking via the email address you have provided.

1.2 Bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions together with our website terms and conditions which are hereby incorporated. For full terms and conditions of website usage please visit: www.wakefield.gov.uk/site/terms-and-conditions.

1.3 We can only guarantee a place on a fitness session or sports activity to those booking in advance.

1.4 Payable bookings must be made by the card holder.

1.5 All bookings can be done online or via the telephone.

1.6 By providing your email address to us when you register and create your account, you consent to receive emails from us. We may use email to communicate with you or to send information that you have requested or to send information about other products or services provided by us.

2. Members

General

2.1 A member is defined as a season ticket holder for the City of Wakefield Golf Course or an Aspire Health and Fitness Member.

2.2 Members can make up to 3 online bookings per day for fitness classes.

2.3 On arrival, members will still have to register at the reception or fast ticket kiosk to gain access to the sports facility for activities booked on-line.

2.4 Fitness classes can be booked 6 days in advance and sports activities can be booked 6 days in advance.

Cancellations

2.5 Cancellation of bookings for any activities covered under the Aspire membership scheme (i.e. fitness classes, swimming, gym) must provide at least 4 hours notice to the booking. Failure to do so will be considered a 'strike'. If an Aspire Member incurs three strikes then the pre bookings option may be suspended for a month.

2.6 At least 24 hours notice for any cancellation of any activities not included under the Aspire membership scheme or a Golf Season Ticket must can be given with 24 hours notice to the booking, this can be online or via the telephone. If you fail to do so, any cancellation made after this time will be charged for the cost of the activity.

2.7 Refunds will not be given for any online booking, an alternate time will be offered. For the alternate time for the booking please contact the site directly. Contact Us

3. Non-Members

General

3.1 On arrival, a booking reference number will have to be presented at the reception to gain access to the sports facility.

3.2 All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking, with either a valid credit or debit card.

3.3 Fitness classes can be booked 5 days in advance.

3.4 Sports activities can be booked 6 days in advance.

Cancellations

3.5 Bookings for sports activities or fitness sessions can be cancelled with 24 hours notice to the booking, this can be online or via the telephone. (link to website for activities).

3.6 Refunds will not be given for any online booking, an alternate time will be offered for the alternate time or session for the booking please contact the site directly. Contact Us

3.7 Any cancellation made after this time will be charged for the cost of the activity.

4. Security

4.1 When other browsers are used at public access internet locations, such as kiosks, internet cafes and libraries, it is possible that card numbers and other personal details may remain accessible to subsequent users.

4.2 You should also be aware that in any public situation, other people may be able to view your personal details as you enter them on an online booking or payment system.

4.3 Wakefield Council does not accept responsibility for any fraudulent use of card details or other personal information as a result of using its online booking systems at public access internet locations. If you are in any doubt about the security of booking online, please book by telephone with the appropriate sports facility.
